Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order ship? Shipping dates vary depending on which items are in your cart. Orders containing fresh or frozen items ship on Monday or Tuesday to avoid weekend shipping delays. Orders containing only shelf stable pantry items or merchandise will ship Monday – Fridays. Orders with overnight shipping selected (some items require overnight shipping) will ship Monday – Thursday. 

What shipping company do you use? All products and packages are shipped via UPS, and tracking numbers are provided. Physical gift cards are sent through the USPS.

How are frozen items shipped? When shipping frozen items, it is common that they will thaw slightly in transit. All frozen items will be shipped with ice packs and insulated packaging to keep products cold through delivery. Some frozen items require overnight shipping to maintain product temperature and integrity. Upon arrival, either continue thawing in the refrigerator and cook within 5 days, or pop items back into the freezer immediately to enjoy later. Most items store well in the freezer for up to 3 months. If you have any issues or concerns, feel free to email shop@kbr.email.

Can I change my shipping address? Yes. If the order has not yet shipped, contact us at shop@kbr.email to provide a new shipping address. If the order is already shipped, we recommend joining UPS MyChoice. This service allows members to manage incoming and outgoing deliveries. Cúrate at Home is not responsible for products shipped to addresses that were submitted incorrectly in customer error. For further assistance, feel free to email us with any questions or issues at all and we will be sure to get back to you within 1 business day. 

My UPS shipment is lost or damaged. What happens next? In shipping fresh food items, we find that a small percentage are lost or damaged in transit. If we haven’t reached out to you already, please email us at shop@kbr.email and let us know so we can make arrangements to reship or find another resolution. 

I would like to pick up my Cúrate at Home order.  Cúrate at Home is our national shipping service, and does not operate out of our restaurant locations. If you would like to pick up an order, please use the La Bodega by Cúrate online ordering platform or just stop by! If you have any issues or concerns, feel free to reach out to us anytime at shop@kbr.email. 

Are gift cards interchangeable between locations? Cúrate Bar de Tapas, La Bodega by Cúrate and Cúrate at Home gift cards can all be purchased online. These gift cards are intended for the individual businesses, and are not interchangeable. For example, Cúrate at Home gift cards cannot be used at Cúrate Bar de Tapas restaurant. Each of our businesses uses a different POS system, limiting our flexibility in gift card usage. Do you provide services such as custom group or corporate orders? We certainly do! With delicious culinary experiences, nationwide shipping, and professional support, the Cúrate crew loves to send creative, personalized, and authentically Spanish gifts to help appreciate, incentivize, and celebrate your employees, clients, and partners! How do I properly dispose of the packaging? We strive to provide the highest quality and sustainable packaging. The Green Cell Foam inside the packages is the most environmentally sustainable and functional packaging material available. It is made from US-grown corn, and is certified compostable in backyard and industrial facilities and can even be dissolved in a sink for safe and easy disposal. This unique material combines exceptional cushioning and thermal insulating protection, while protecting the planet. The containers that our house made products are in are recyclable and made with previously recycled materials. 

Are your products and packaging maintaining sustainability standards?  All of our house made products are made from sustainably sourced products, using Asheville or North Carolina-local producers when possible. Sustainability is important to our company, and we are constantly updating and searching for products and producers that share our values and standards.
